A few weeks ago, we presented at an event organized by the very good people of the Area 4 Agency on Aging, which covers a sizable portion of Northern California. The A4AA has a project called “Strategies for Working Caregivers,” intended to help provide some work/life balance for folk — good stuff.
The topic of our presentation is the title of this posting — how do we recognize the need for help on the part of elders in our lives?
The presentation is contained in the PDF file attached. It talks about the Advance Living Directive and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs and IADLs), which we believe are critical to understanding the needs of our seniors. We would love your feedback, suggestions and questions on this topic.
Best wishes. Bert
