Barry Berger is the 800 pound gorilla of California home care. He is a guy — and owns a company — that we at Support For Home very much respect. Just as I have written a number of articles lately on the issues surrounding the new proposed rules from the US Department of Labor — greatly increasing costs to home care families and reducing income to Home Care Aides — Barry has written a very good OpEd piece about some legislation being considered by the California legislature.
